Introduction

I visited Norway from August 4 to August 24, 2018. I did not write up the trip at the time; it was not until 2022 that I gathered these pictures, so they are more memory-influenced than the web pages for my other trips.

I had been working on Norway travel plans for a while, but they were not coming together. My goal dates for the trip were approaching, so finally I decided to just do it, and I picked various cities off the map (which I had partially investigated), booked flights, transit between cities, and lodging, all in one evening, and then I left home 66 hours later. Consequently, I was reading guide books and web pages about each city the night before traveling their, and while en route, so I many of my activities were selected on the fly.

A note about viewing images: The images in my web page are tagged to open in a named target window. This means if you open one (by clicking on any small image) and move its tab to a separate window, then clicking on any other small image should change the displayed image without creating a new tab or window.
